Hello! My name is Emily. I graduated from Colorado State University in May of 2024. I studied Business Administration with a focus in Organization Management as well as Global Environmental Sustainability. I live in Fort Collins, Colorado and absolutely love wandering around Old Town.

I am currently pouring my passion and energy into starting up two companies, Fur-enzy Pet Sitting and a Project Management type business for local stores in and around Fort Collins. I am extremely excited and optimistic about these two business ideas and am fortunate enough to have done enough “adulting” to where I have the luxury of focussing on starting these up without the financial stress factors!

I love snowboarding, paddle boarding, and all activities outside. I also am an avid book nerd! I love weight lifting and have dreams to compete as a body builder. I have a Pitbull mix, Finley, who loves to snuggle under blankets, doesn’t understand the definition of personal space, and absolutely loves going on walks with his ball (and sometimes me).

I was a professional horseback rider during high school and cared for horses throughout my career. I have always loved being around and caring for animals. It has always been a passion of mine. Now, I look forward to helping others do the same! I am very excited to meet and be part of you and your pets life!

Layla Levine

Hi! My name is Layla. I was born and raised in Colorado, I graduated high school in 2024 and started college in steamboat springs the following August! During that time I started working at the Routt County Humane Society. I realized college at the time wasn't for me but I loved what I was doing at the humane society, so I moved back home and got a job at NOCO Humane. Where my love and passion for animals grew even stronger, I learned amazing skills and a lot about animal behavior.

I spend most of my free time watching movies with my cat Chicken and my dog Misty. I live with my family and we have three other dogs, one other cat and a Bird. I have spent my entire life surrounded by all types of animals and treating them like family. When I am not at home I am almost always doing something active, whether it's going on a hike, a walk, or lifting at the gym.

I have a dream of opening my own bakery one day so currently I am finding ways to grow my baking skills and achieve my dreams! While still helping animals in every way possible, my favorite thing from working at a humane society was getting to make those animals happy everyday by sending them to happy homes, I think by being a part of Fur-enzy I can continue to make animals happy by getting them active and helping them with their everyday needs!

Bella Sassali

Hi! My name is Bella, and I’m originally from Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I made the move up to Fort Collins about a year ago to attend Colorado State University, where I’m currently majoring in forensic chemistry. It’s a fascinating field that blends science and investigation, and I’m loving every minute of it!

When I’m not busy with school, I love spending time with my friends and family. I'm a big fan of the outdoors—whether it’s hiking in the mountains, skiing in the winter, or just soaking up the sun on a nice day. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places when I get the chance. On quieter days, you can usually find me curled up watching movies or binge-watching reality TV with my roommates—it’s our favorite way to unwind!

I share my home with my adorable dog Emily, a corgi-beagle-hound mix who keeps life interesting! She’s full of personality and loves playing in the snow, basking in the sun, and obsessively watching squirrels in our backyard. She definitely keeps me on my toes and reminds me daily why I love animals so much.

I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love and appreciation for them. Being around pets brings me so much joy, and I truly believe they make life better. I’m so excited to be working with Fur-Enzy and can’t wait to meet all of you and your amazing pets. I look forward to giving them the love, care, and attention they deserve!
